Apologies to all Bravo owners (i myself am still one 4 now)however i got a little over excited at the weekend and bought a Stilo.
Didnt really want to sell but in doing 25000 miles a year I needed a Diesel.
I had an X reg Trofeo 30000 miles and no mods xcept for some wheels. I got 4800 part ex what do u lot think?
I bit his hand off as I got a few freebies woith the new one as well (CD,Leather wheel etc).
Anyway as I have nothing else better to do in my lunch hour ill probably still read the forum as its been fun but good luck to all you Bravo owners anyway. And ill be interested to see if Riclemus puts the conversion in!!!

£4800 !!!

thats a good price in part exchange u got in comparison to what i am being offered for my bravo 1.2sx w reg..they are trying to offer me 3,000 trade price everywhere to which i feel like telling them to f*** off. my car brand new from fiat would have been about 10,000 although i paid a lot less at trade sales in slough.

tell me mate...how did u wangle such a high part exchange value..any tips u could give me for upping the dealers offer!!.. i have tried everything..where did u buy your stilo from??

cheers

Henry

4800

Hmm tips for getting a high part ex. Make sure that the garage knows you are dealing with another garage when you first go in. Make them think that your being really honest about it.
I bought from Caledonia in Oldham but also told them i was going to see Reg Vardy that afternoon. He offered me 4500 against a standard JTD. I went to Reg Varydy who could only match his offer. I went back to him and said im being honest with you and there a little bit cheaper:) what can you do? I also said look id like to deal with you as I dont like the reg vardy lot so it made hime feel wanted -lol. And i got 300 quid extra and a cd and leather steering wheel
Bobs your uncle just play the dealers off against each other till the heat gets too much and one pulls out.
cheers
