That's rare model or decent 4x4 money. £700-ish was a fair price.
Good luck to him, but there is no way he is going to get that kind of money for it, the interior looks pretty tatty to me as well, though its difficult to tell from the photos.
Its not nearly rare enough or in good enough condition to warrant that kind of expenditure, £600-700 would be more feasible in my opinion.
