i fullly apprecate that you guys make think that my car maybe a sack of rubbish, but i can assure you it aint, i have now got problems with the power to my car. i got a battery from a mate as the one that i had went flat as the car was not on the road for a long time and i didnt turn it over to keep the charge, this is not a new battery and does not seem to hold any charge, even after a moderate journry, or it will do, but will then lose all charge. do you reckon that it would be worth getting ripped off and spending the close to £100 pounds, or do you think it maybe a bit more sinister???

i would get a multimeter over the charging system 1st.
no point paying for a battery without knowing.
put the multimeter terminals over the battery posts.read the volts with the

engine off
engine running
engine running with headlights on,radio on, neater on etc to see what it does under load

posts up the results
