mini's are cool. I saw a load of them - must have been about 20 altogether in convoy near Lytham in Lancashire. Then a load more came past individually. Do u know anything about that???

I had 2 Minis The car I had between the Fiat and Seat was a Mini Racing Green 1000. I had to build up some ncbs when I wrote off the Tempra. And also I wanted a Mini Clubman estate as my 1st car (back in 1994) but ended up getting a 1000cc saloon.

When did you see the convoy ?? There was a charity run recently that
went that way on its route.

I've had my clubby estate for about 18 months and it's only moved once.
That was to the MOT station last year and back....when it failed. It's now
up for sale as I can't afford to get both minis welded

Charlie's just like a mini - except he's quiet, not rotten, suspension works,
to mention just a few things !! lol

the convoy was about 2:00pm today, just going past mcdonalds into lytham. I couldnt beleive it wen i saw them all!!!!

I have been a passenger in a mini as it lost it at 60 on wet roads on a country lane, into a reverse opposite spin out of the corner, into a verge, missed a telegraph pole and oncoming car by inches, rolled onto its side and came to rest a few feet away from a 20 foot drop.

I got out by undoing the window my side and standing on the ground, lol. Then pushed the driver out.

I love convoys !! Best bit about going to shows.....well that and
camping and getting sh*tfaced !!! lol

Bit of a hairy moment there stuart.....brown trousers ??? lol
Having seen how minis come out of rolls etc, it's surprising how sturdy
they are.

She's hopefully going for rear end welding soon. Then, once tax and MOT
runs out at the end of september, she's coming off the road for a while so
I can fit a removable steel front !! Can't wait.
