Project that has been in the garage for far too long. Hardly ever see a Fiat on the road in the 'states anymore (especially other than spider 2k, or x1/9). I'll be asking the occasional question, but I have lots of experience with the old 128s. Mine is a ’74, that was the first year of the “smog-motors”. I have an older 1100 in it now, and want to put the 1100 head on the 1300 block, and use a mild cam, etc. I’m fortunate to have parts from a wagon (transmission, and rear leaf spring), that should help this become a more sporting car. But hey, the 128 was always a fun car to drive, and there is no better car for getting around in the snow and ice!

Welcome to the forum! I like old FIATs and the 128 is an interesting piece of history, being the first front wheel drive FIAT(y)
I own a Tempra powered by what should be the last evolutive step of the 128 engine, with 1581cc and 86 HP.
