Hey fellow Fiat drivers,

all the way from Australia here, and found this site while looking for some inspiration for my 2014 Fiat Punto so here i am

also featuring the said car.

a few plans i had already for it are
- Nice dark tint
- 12v boot socket + boot light
- HID upgrade (if it is possible / light spread isnt horrid)
- Chrome grills
- Rear boot wing (if there is one available)
- Upgrade factory speakers
- exhaust tip (to make it look tougher)

my Twinair Punto has 2-tone "diamond-cut" alloys, so BLACK + "metal"

and I am looking to change the colour options..,

charlie

i used to have a 2 tone rims on my previous car, a Mitsubish Manga / Diamante.
i found the two colours worked well on the lighter colour paint but i found my black insides faded a bit. whereas a single tone / colour wheel i find is easier to make any brake painting or accents on the rim stand out more.

Hello and welcome here,

Thanks for the pics, nice white Punto with beautiful alloys.

HID are not recommended, modding headlight always result in bad beam, especially without lens. An automatic height correction is also needed.
And you are not street legal.

For your mods, you can paint doors handles, it will look nice :)

Thanks!

HIDs were something I wanted to do for the nice white light and since I notices the punto had manual headlight adjustment I thought it could work, but cheers for the heads up.

The door handles I like black but not the plastic black, do the chrome parts from Fiat only cover the top half of the handle? ( is it worth getting parts from Fiat itself?)

using this thread to try and get some help,
in the boot there is the slot for the 12v socket and boot light.
neither are installed, although i do have the boot light,

i have found a cable with a plug at the end that has two wires going in to it with a third slot unused, i assume this for the the 12v socket. my main question is, the boot light cable, where is it buried? as it is a new car i have the handbook and cant find anything in it and the forum doesnt show much except for the Panda
