Technical Another Idling problem TD100

[MyWeekend]

Driving a TD100 with this rather embarassing problem. Idling revs reaches 2000-2500rpm depending on it's mood, without me touching anything.

What seems to be the problem? Issit the fuel pump?

Does the TD100 have an idling sensor (or whatever they call it) that needs replacing or cleaning?

Maybe try cleaning the MAF sensor as described in earlier posts.Also check all vacume pipes are ok. :idea:

are you sure the accelerator cable is not sticking ?. If its ok, check the idle speed solenoid, maybe remove the intake manifold hose from turbo to make sure its not getting oil from somewhere (it would smoke like hell if it was though) and after that it can only be a faulty governor in the pump.. there is nothing else to check really.
