Hi fiat doblo 1.3 multijet won't crank no start will bump and not had no trouble with starter have charged battery ? Cheers

Sounds like either..??

A poor electrical connection.. SLOW engine cranking..

Or low fuel rail pressure... normal - 600rpm cranking.. but not enough to start.. towing increases rpm to achieve rail pressures.

Thank you Charlie I'll check the earth's and battery connections in the morning hope it's something simple like that ��the battery is 12.2 but I know they need a lot to turn the engines over I'll get it tested as well cheers matey

Hi I had this similar problem early this year and called out the AA. The patrolman added an earth from the engine to the bulkhead and bingo no more problems. Seems this is a common problem with this model . Hope this may help or if not good luck in solving your problem . Cheers Geordie
