Hello Folks,

Anyone installed 7, 8, 9 or even 10 inch LCD screen with android head units into their Punto? Care to share the unit brand and some tips on the installation? Some pictures would be appreciated.

Cheers.

Would be very hard on a mk2 because if the half din radio size right on top of the dash.

The only option would be a folding out screen type thing and to be fair I’m not aware of any flip out screen things with android auto

Someone did install a carputer (remember those before the days of Android head units?) in their Punto, there is a guide:

https://www.fiatforum.com/punto-mk2...installing-carputer-monitor-fascia-panel.html

That may give you some ideas on how to modify the fascia to put a double din in. It'll be a very tight fit.
I'm with Andy, get a single din with a sliding screen, or I know that Alpine do a single din unit that has a big touchscreen:

Did a bit of research there are actually quite a few radios out there that would work, the Alpine iLX-F903D is the one nitramtpr was talking about, but that is £700 so more expensive than pretty much any mk2 Punto would cost now

There are similar offerings from pioneer the EVO62DAB and the EVO82DAB but while they’re cheaper they are also still hundreds of pounds £450-600
