Hi just seeing wot other advise on wattage, got a set of 6x9's(max 350watt) on the rear shelf running off a small 75x2watt amp well im looking to change the amp to a bigger one but nothing major just for a decent sound really aint a spec freak.

What size is it worth going for 150x2?

Dude, the figure you quote of 350w for the speakers are not 'real' watts. That figure is probably Peak Music Power.

The amp you have of 75w is probably 75watts RMS so I would say your amp is matched to the 6x9's you have. No need to go to a bigger amp.

However make sure you have 8 gauge cables for the 12v and ground for the amp.

Hmm...10awg would probably be sufficent for that amp, as I'm guessing it has an ampage of approx. 30A...................but there's no harm in going thicker ;) Max wattages mean nothing :)

cheers i didnt realise that i had to use up to that gauge with it being a small amp but i shall give it a try (y)

What gauge are you using ATM? What is the fuse rating on the amp?

not really a techy with audio but the fuse from the batt to the amp is 20 and the fuse in the amp is 20 i think, the wire is i think again 16 gauge.

You mean your power and earth cables are only 16awg? Get that sorted ASAP.
