amp draining battery

right im new to the audio system world and have just wired up my amp to the sub but wen the engines off the power on the amp stays ondoes anybody know how i can stop this.

was goin to start the car this morning and the was no power from the battery to start it up so had to bump start it.


anybody got any ideas?

sounds like you have connected the amps remote connection to a constant live meaning the amp is always on.it should be connected to the blue connection on your headunits wiring loom or you can use an ignition live if you prefer
