!!!!!!!!!!!!
To make it easier for myself I guess I should have done it this way:
1. No other door parts fitted, put clips around the frame then using extreme care and starting in the tight corner, attach the trim on both sides, including the end covers.
2. Put in the winding glass from the bottom and leave it there at a slight angle upwards at the front.
3.Very carefully fit the quarter-light and secure in place.
4. Fit the metal channel at the lock end of the door.
5. Fit the flexible window channel that goes in the top and rear of the door.
6. Test the "slideability" of the window then bring down to the level where you can slide the winder mechanism into the channel.
7. Fit the small piece that connects into the bottom of the quarter-light.
Notes;
1. I don't know how essential it is but I had all the locking mechanisms in already.
2. Don't forget to dry run so that you can trim the felt on the aluminium to length.
3. Make sure you put the correct glass in the correct door..the channel's open side faces the outside of the car....save yourself the the trouble, annoyance and fast learning curve I had.:bang:
