Hello, i'm looking for some decent alloys to put on my yellow mk1 gt,it has 15" crappy ones at the mo with missing centre caps and I think it deserves better than that!

Problem is 15's look dinky on it even though its been lowered 40mm,would I be ok to put 17's on without cutting the arches/bumpers out,or would I be better sticking to 15's with low profiles?

I'm thinking multispoke too if anyone has any to sell on :D

Thanks to all who replied, sorry i posted 2 threads, didnt think the first one had gone through!

Hey beau_4076,are you the guy who had the blue gt?If so the wheels I have at the mo are the same as the 16's i think you had on that,do you know what theyre called??

you will regret getting bigger than 15's for a gt. your acceleration will go to the dogs as will your handling. stick with your 15's, and if it bothers you still, just drop it another 20mm, but i wouldn't recommend it. you have a gt,a yellow gt at that, you should enjoy its full potential. if i were you i'd look for some anthtracite gt alloys and drop it 45mm.that will look beast.
