Hi guys and girls could b a bit of a stupid one but if the fiat stud patten on a 07 plate panda is 4x98(a friend told me this so may be wrong) will 4x100 fit as have found the wheels my car needs but want to know for sure they will go on before I spend the money!!

Most Fiats do in fact use 4 by 98. About the only recent exceptions are the Punto 3 and the Qubo, which is built on the same platform.

Wobble bolts (or by their proper name PCD correction bolts) are perfectly safe as long as you get the right taper and length. You need to be sure with aftermarket wheels that you're also getting the correct centre bore (58.1mm) and offset (expressed as ET). I'm not sure what the offset on a 100hp is but you should be able to see it stamped on one of your original wheels.

The Punto 3 is the bodyshell that was introduced as the Grande Punto and became the Punto Evo and later the 2012 Punto. You could call it the Punto 3a/3b/3c. The Punto Mk 2a/2b is a Punto 2, the second bodyshell with the Punto name.

The reason the Punto 3 and Qubo use 4 X 100 is that the same platform is shared with the Opel/Vauxhall Corsa and 4 X 100 is a standard Opel dimension. It was used because Opel shared in the platform's development.

I tried some 4x100's on my gp & they didnt fit :/ i could get one bolt in, the others were nowhere near lining up :S

From Eklipze3k above...

Although 4 X 100 is very common the center bore size and offset can vary greatly. They will prevent you from fitting the wheel if they are not correct.
