Technical All visible lights flicker

Hi All - My Barchetta's lights have started to flicker badly - that is, the interior lights, dash lights and external lights. I have been told the "electric load detector" may need replacing, but I cannot find anything by that name in the wiring/electrical manual. Any suggestions please!

Hi,
I guess it is the voltage regulator area which is attached to the altenator. My lights pulsed withthe added problem of the abs and brake warkning lights glowing intermittently. After loads of phaffing about it was finally cured by simply undoing the altenator terminals and reconnecting them cleaned.
May be the diodes in the regulator on the altenator. Good luck

Steve PD Thank you! - I had the alternator re-conditioned recently, so will take the car back for them to re-check the function. I have checked battery terminals etc so your suggestion very likely. Many thanks!
