Nick, sorry my friend I am probably being a bit slow -what info are you after?

If you are asking whether the changers on the guide will fit your radio the answer is yes.

Bravo S radio..

Hi,

If you have the S model, then your radio is probably not the AD182H..
Does it have RDS?

-Ove

no RDS

the radio is just the bog standard piece of crap, i dont actually know the model but ive spoken to a couple of other site users they say that it should have the cable which is all i want!!cheers for the help!!

problems pulling the radio out

Hi Nick,

I just realise that I have just responded to an old one of your requests on this issue.. Well, heck, better safe than sorry, at least you've been helped! ;)

Anyway, about the problem pulling the radio out as per the guide, I had a bit of trouble myself (tried to make my own tool out of a bit of scrap metal sheet)..

After managing to get it out, I realise that my problem was that I hadn't completely understood the opening/locking mechanism, and what you need to do to unlock it.

If you look at Alfanige's pictures, you can see the mechanism on the last picture:
tradio6.jpg

What I thought I had to do, was to just slide a sheet of metal down the side of the metal spring, which would then be pressed sideways to unlock.
But that was all a load of horses..
What you have to do is actually target the top of the spring where there is a small part sticking out.. and when you press that in (i.e. towards the back of the radio), it will move the bottom of the spring upwards to unlock it.

Armed with that knowledge it should be easy to do..

Nige, maybe another mod to the otherwise super brilliant guide? ;)

Cheers,
Ove
