Alfa 147 handles

Ok so i've done a search and no one appears to mention this before now.
I'm having problems removing the lock from the donor alfa handle prior to replacing it with the FIAT one from my car.
It looks like the Valeo plastic housing has a cap which clips down one way only. Before i try to prise it off with a screw driver and brute force can anyone say if there is another way of doing this?

Not sure about your problem with the handles but you should have got fiat 500 handles, pretty much a straight fit and also don't leave an ugly gap.

The FIAT 500 wasn't released when I bought this set but thanks for the post.

Ah right, didn't realise. I've got some colour coded rear marea handles which have had the ridge smooth'd out, but really can't be bothered going through all the trouble of taking the door cards off.

Is it true that the Fiat 500 handles will fit straight on a bravo, more or less?

These are for sale on ebay £44 a set brand new.
