The ones I looked at were plaastic, XS range.
Either way - its never that bit that goes - its the bit that cleans the screen and I didnt see much difference in feel. For what they are I'd rather get some Bosch ones.

Comes in a Gunk style container? if so - regardless its something i use alot of when doing brakes etc

If you use once a blue moon yes its fine
regular - then no, alot of "cheap" jacks are all the same just different colours, and i've had 1 donated, it was "poo" and mine which is Torq (aka B&Q) is failing in the same way

£16 for the torque wrench is worth a punt, I have a 10 year old trolly jack from Argos and that's still going well so cheap doesn't always mean its a five minute wonder before it breaks
