I was bored yesterday and surfed through some old bravo posts on the fiat forum site. There is a sequence using the bonnet pin to change the country setting listed one of which turns off the beep and lights when you arm/disarm. Does anyone have a list of what the differences are for each country? (Italy, Germany, France etc..)

I think it alters the siren db levels and in some coutries they don't allow the siren, just blinking lights.

Yeah 9 preses = low siren for Turin! I just want flashes and no beeps. 6 and 7 presses turns off both, i'll just have to play around with it in a large open space so as not to annoy anyone!

COUNTRY OF OPERATION
ITALY -1 CODE (Number of key presses)
GERMANY- 2
FRANCE 3
SW1TZERLAND - 4
UNITED KINGDOM - 5
BELGIUM - 6
HOLLAND 7
EC - 8
Low siren (TURIN) - 9

It is also possible to identify the country operating mode by means of the following procedure:
- open the bonnet lid;
- turn the ignition key from MAR to STOP:
within 15 seconds. press switch (at the front bonnet) 7 times in rapid succession in less than 10 seconds.

Entry to MANUAL FAULT DIAGNOSIS will be indicated by 5 beep. During these 5 beeps,press the front bonnet switch and hold down. A further long beep will indicate acceptance of this manoeuvre.

- hold the switch down for the entire duration of this long beep. The long beep indicates that the system is in Country programming mode and the Country code can now be entered;

release the switch and within the next 10 seconds press the switch in accordance with the table for
selecting the required country operating mode (the system will be beep to confirm each press).

Ta that's the list i have, it's more the differences between each country i am intesested in though e.g. does one have self arming etc....
Thanks though!

I have noooo idea! :)

I guess it would be a case of trial and error, try each setting and see what it does, then post the results back here so we don't have to do it ;)

thanks in advance, hehe!
