Alarm help quick!!!

ok think i found an alarm..... called MAXX 1 or MAXX 2. MAXX 1 has duel circuit immob.... but as my car has an immob i can use the MAXX 2.... converts cat 2 - cat 1. is the std immob on my fiat brava 1.6 sx a cat 2.... and wat do u think of the alarm???

Some say the immobiliser is a cat 2 some say it aint but you can fit the 2 to 1 if you wanted. Only thing is if the fiat immob is cat 2 then you will have cat 2-1, meaning cheaper insurance if poss. But if the standard immob isn't then you'll get no discounts.

I also hear you need the alarms to be fitted by qualified engineers to get a CAT certificate.

Cat 2 = imob
Cat 1 = imob + alarm

No imob can be cat 1

And yes, it has to be fitted by an approved person and certified to be cat 1.
