I read the engine ECU yesterday and it had 2 aircon related faults stored, one being low pressure and the other being aircon relay. The aircon has never worked since I got the car and I tried to get it regassed a couple of months back but they were unable to do it as the compressor wouldn't kick in. I was thinking it could be because of this relay. Does anyone know where/which one it is and if it's dealer only?

Normal cause for low pressure is a leak
If the systems leaking they couldn't recharge
it as it's illegal to do so.

If the pressure is low then the relay won't
work anyway pressure switch is on the drivers side.
If anyone near you has a the fiatecuscan software
you can activate relay and hear the clutch clunk
which means low pressure / a leak is you main problem.
The lower flexible pipe from the compressor to the
condensor is a notorious problem on the stilo.

Aircon relay is T05, in the fuse box above the battery. I got one recently from Fiat (had tried everywhere to get a 20a to suit and all I could find was 15 or 30). It was around £10 if I remember correctly.

All the smaller black relays in that box are the same so it's safe to swap one over to test it if you need to (y)

They did a leak test and it passed, but the compressor would not kick in. As it's only cheap, I'll try replacing the relay and getting it gassed again.
