Technical Aircon R134a not fitting?

As above had a spare can from regassing another car so thought I would put it into the mrs,
14 plate twin air sport.
The fitting from the gauge/ regas connector goes onto the low output but the sleeve doesn’t seem to clip over the low pipe ? Almost as if it’s too short? Obviously it’s not the high output as the connector doesn’t even go over it?
Where as the low side it goes on? Perfect fit but again sleeve is too short to catch and make it hold in place
Am I missing something here?

Silly question but it definitely takes R134a and not the later R1234YF? Not sure what year Fiat started switching over

Going to check on my car tomoz as I know mines a lot newer and definitely takes the yf gas,
see if the low side valve looks the same!
Just having a rabbit hole moment and found this! Helps a lot
