Technical airbag reset

can anybody help me reset my airbag warning light ,It happend after i disconected the airbag to fix a problem i had with the horn. the horn is now working but the airbag malfunction light is iluminated and it will not reset

Hi,
Sorry to say but the only way to reset the airbag warning light is to take it to a dealers. The warning light latches inside the controller whenever it detects a power or circuit fault, e.g. airbag disconnected with power on to the controller. I guess you turned the key to test the horn with the airbag still disconnected.

I've got exactly the same problem with mine. I unplugged the yellow wire under the passenger seat and turned the ignition on but it made the airbag light illuminate.

I'm taking it to MotorVogue in Northampton soon, any ideas roughly how much it costs to get it reset?

afaik its a flat charge of £25 for any dianostic using the examiner where i am, you can get cheeper elsewhere.
