airbag problem

Hi Help is needed in trying to solve my problem.
My vehicle is a 2000(w) Bravo 80 Trofeo. I have an airbag warning light on permanently. Is it possible to source and rectify this problem or is it a dealer only fix. Any sensible comments would be appreciated.

If the light is on, there may be a problem with the airbag...

I wouldn't risk it, it wouldnt be nice if you had a bump and smashed your head on your steering wheel...

Most probably it just needs turning off, which i think it can only be done by Fiat...

im sure that
http://www.angeltuning.co.uk/ can look at airbag faults, or at last interrogate the airbag ecu for fault codes at a price less than fiat.
there is a post on here somewhere but i cant find it!
