Pay a company £40+ vat to reset it or about £36 for all the cables (kkl elm and adapters) and download MES for free and you'll be able to do resets yourself when you need it and identify any other issues that might pop up

where did you get 36 squid?
elm bluetooth adapter costs 10 squid max, the one i linked is 5 squid from china

ive got some that ive used only a few time's & ive no use for them any more..

they are propper quality ones' not mickey mouse ones from 'wrongkong'

it'll be for the adaptor leads so the OP doesn't have to start messing around with everything inside of it

The good quality leads are about £15 for the adapters £8-10 for a usb kkl and £8-10 for a decent elm327 (not the crap one you linked to which won't work without modification and is £5.50 + P&P)

So between £31-35 plus or minus P&P depending where you get them from

£36 is what I paid for mine and they are all half decent quality apart from the elm which is the crap one you linked to, which I had to fix and modify to get it working
