Hi all,

i was hoping someone would see this in the next day or so. I have all the warning lights for an airbag ecu failure - "stop start unavailable, Fuel cut off unavailable, passenger seatbelt light on, orange triangle, airbag lights" i have it booked into the garage on Wednesday but trying to find out how much this will cost on average ( I'm 17 and work part time so on a budget!)

Im taking it to the garage where they previously charged me £150 to fic my central locking ( if that helps give an idea of the garage prices)

Any help is appreciated, thankyou!

Can be something as simple as a duff battery or wrong one fitted (not stop / start type) can be a bad earth wire near battery.
Depending on how good they are at diagnosis etc. price can be anything , so the answer to your question is "how long is a piece of string?".
My advice would be to have it correctly diagnosed by a good professional with the Diagnostic tool that recognises your model and gives you a print out of the error codes, before you spend lots of money.
If you look on this Forum site you will see many that have had those error light messages come up and often it is just something small like I mentioned at the beginning.
Basically if you know very little about cars then my advice is to find a garage you trust and stay with them, unless they prove otherwise.
