Technical air flow sensor

I own a 2012 ,3 ltr Ducato which is displaying an air flow sensor alarm, and on occasions causes i have power problem going up hill. I have taken it to a Fiat Dealer on no less than 4 occasions on the final visit they changed the air flow sensor, within 5 kilometres of leaving the dealership the alarm had returned.
has any one got any ideas ?
