Technical Air Condition Warning. How to stop?

Many years ago I replaced the engine in my 02 1.9JTD. That requires the A/C being disconnected. I doubt if it was gassed as the car had done 175K which is why I changed the engine and gearbox. I have never used AC in a car as I prefer to just open a window or one or both roof panels. I never bothered to re-gas the system and as a result several times in a trip the Air Condition Fault - Go to Garage message and the beep .... I still see no need for A/C (is it ever over the minimum 6 degrees in the UK)
What can I do to silence the beep and possibly stop the message?

I see there is an A/C ecu 036677CE but I dont know where it is. I thought of disconnecting the cables to it. Anyone know where it is. A/C isnt in eper

Is there a reason why I always get oops... on eper?

Because it quite often crocks on the FF servers and/or it's easily over-subscribed by users - as I understand it, only a very few users can be on it at any one time. Best thing is to try it very early in the morning or very late at night.

Not a great deal of help, but I get the aircon warning sometimes, even though mine still works!
