Can anybody help, my air con will only run for 10 seconds, condenser kicks in and fan but then stops. I have had it re gassed and pressure tested and all ok. Garage want £s to fault trace. I’m thinking pressure switch needs replacing?. Can this be removed and replaced without degassing?. Thank you. 2013 2.3 Ducato Motorhome.

Thanks Andy, It was like it before I took it in, so they did a full clean pressure test and re gassed it and it’s
still the same
See if you can find a reasonably local aircon specialist, rather than just a garage that knows how to regas. They may well diagnose it just from the fault description.
MultiECUscan should show aircon pressure, and will therefore show if too high or too low. At least that will be what the pressure switch is reporting, and if not believable will confirm your thoughts of switch failure.
The switch is a dual pressure switch, reporting low and high pressures. If pressure too low, it prevents the system operating, and with both switches will turn pump on and off as necessary.
