Technical air con probs

hi there ,am new on here , hope some one can help me........
I have just had my air con re-charged on my marea ,but it isn`t working ,is it poss that because the external air temp sensor is reading -5 degrees,if so where can i get a replacement sensor?????? thanks

Yes it will be the sensor, as anything below 5C and the aircon automatically turns off and wont work to prevent damage in winter.

The sensor is located in the drivers door mirror, i recon the wire is kinked or damage hence the reading. You could get a replacement door mirror either new or from the scrapyard and try your luck. Not all Marea, Bravo/a had external temp sensors. Usually cars with air con have them, but to check just look under the drivers mirror for a lump.

stripped wing mirror down ,and put the sensor in warm water ,and the air con started to work ,dont they sell new sensors anywhere ? pls help thanks:worship:
