Hello all, newbie member here. :)

My name's Michael Mills, I live in Barnes, south west London and am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my new Panda 100hp.

The dealer promises me it'll be ready to collect next Friday, spec as follows: electroclash grey with the speaker upgrade and pandamonium pack. Would rather have done without the pandamonium pack to be honest, but the car was a cancelled order and already specced. I've asked the dealer to remove the stripes though, as I really don't think they do anything for the looks, although others may disagree! Anyway, can't wait to get behind the wheel. :devil:

One question for you: what's the general consensus on running-in? Haven't had a chance to look at an owner's manual yet to see what Fiat recommend, but I imagine tootling about at 3,000rpm or less for 1,000 miles will be agony. All input gratefully received.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on the purchase of your Panda!

You're best asking your running-in question in the New Panda section as many owners there will be able to advise on how they ran their own cars in from new.
