I have a 56 Idea 1.3 multijet. I have bought a din adaptor to fit a Tevion CD MP3 player. I managed to get the factory fitted out ok plugged the Tevion in and got nothing. [I have fittrd the ISO adaptor cable]. I have subsequently tried to connect the pos and neg cable to a seperate supply and still appear to get nothing. I am now not sure if the unit is US. To confuse matters further I went to my local FIAT dealership to explain and was told that the cars ECU would not recognise the new unit so it is not possible to fit an aftermarket cd without reprogramming. Is this correct? I don't want to go out and buy another head unit to find the same thing. Any help would be much appreciated.
