Hi

The simplest is to pull the damaged end out and stick (solder and heat shrink) on a new bit of wire and push it back.

The alternate is to butt a new cable with the old and heat shrink them together and attempt to pull the new cable through by pulling the old from the other end.

If that fails you will need to run a new cable which wont be that easy...

im trying to run a new cable through but the old 1 will not move so im wondering what could be stopping it

Hi

That is the name of the game.

If you cannot get enough access to repair the end of the cable you need the roof lining back to allow access to repair the end and push it back ( or the dash back depending on end damaged.

Or drill a hole in wing and run a cable under dash out through to wing, note the aerial would need to clear the wing liner...

you won't have to take the dash out, and you may get away with not taking the headliner out - take the a-pillar off, it will be in clips behind there, i can't remember which side of the car it goes down though. Worst case you will have to drop the front of the headliner but thats no big deal.

the aerial end but iv done it now.. it was so easy after I found all the clips that was holding it then taped new 1 to it and pulled it through
