Punto (Mk2/2b) Aerial Problems!

Right, all my mates aerials on there car unscrew (the long flexible bit) but mine will not budge! tried getting mold grips, pliers, and everything on it and it does not budge, are some Ariel's meant to not unscrew and you have to change the base or am i just being a girl about things? :idea:

does it look like the standard aerial? are you turning it the right way? wd40?

its probably corroded in place as they often do.

WD40 as suggested or you might find too much force and you damage the base and have to replace the lot anyway
