Hi.
This is my first post, so sorry for finding myself in a position of asking for help, as opposed to possibly offering it.

I have a Fiat Doblo 1.9JTD taxi in the Halton borough ( Runcorn).

This morning my clutch failed.
At the bottom of the pedal, I can hear the clutch, so presume it's a broken clutch, and not just the cable.

Obviously I use this for my job, so I'm basically unemployed untill I get it fixed.

Can anyone tell me how much this is likely to cost me to have repaired, and how long the job is likely to take please?

Any ideas on the best place to take it?

Many thanks in advance.

hi, it dont have a cable its hydraulic so get that checked first, here in notts it will set you back £280 inc fitting, i did it myself on my 1.9 jtd the clutch itself cost £90 thats for a three part assembley (clutch plate pressure plate and release bearing) my clutch was in fact only half worn it was the pressure plate that had snapped some of the splines off, nnd the release bearing actually got pushed through the middle of it so couldnt get it in gear! is that your problem? plates dont normally just go they start to slip so you have some warning, i would start with the hydraulics.regards, geoff
