how many miles do you think Ulysee 2004 2.0 JTD Diesel will do in its lifetime?

mine is currently on 130,000 but im just wondering how many more I can expect from it before its ready to "die".

any ideas?

Mine has done 215k, but I know of another that lives locally, that is currently on 344k.

I used to drive a Scudo van with a JTD that has (and I kid you not) 736K.

It was still going strong (Had an oil & Filter every 7k) when it was written off by a falling pallet.

My previous car was a Citroen C5 2.2 HDI. Had 345,000 Klms done when I changed to my present Ulysse. Same engine! It never used a drop of oil between changes but I must admit that I changed the oil every 15,000 Klms and used Halfords 5 W 40 and replaced filter each time. It was running like a new engine when I parted with it. Yours is just run in XB23, if it has been well looked after!

I change the oil & filter on mine every 7.5k at the latest (Try to do every 5k). I use a good quality lube (the same oil as many Nissan Skyline owners use - it is an ACEA-B3 oil, so is compatible - If you need to know its GM/Vauxhall 10w-40 Semi-Synthetic or if you can't get this cheap enough (I have a trade card, then use Comma oil, its made by the same people) and a new filter every time. Costs me just under £20 to change both.

Don't listen to the 12k service light, I think that is too far for a petrol, let alone a diesel.
