I know this has been recently metioned but... do pipercross do an induction kit for the Bravo 1.8 HLX115?
The only reason i ask is that im in the process of buying an induction kit and by the sounds of it all you guys rate the PiperX!, so i thought id find out how much one would cost, so i phoned the local halfords and they say that piperX dont do one for a 1.8 Bravo?
Is this so???
and if they dont what is the next best thing? Green?, K&N?
Many Many Thanks.
and sorry if its been asked a thousand time before!

James

No they don't. If you want one you will have to make your own from some Samco/SFS hose and a universal filter from piperX or ITG. Its not that hard to do.

Personally, I would not waste my money on a K&N or green. I've used them on carb'd cars and the dirt that gets through is amazing.

Re: Re: Advance Apoligise For This Question!

C'mon, give us more than 10 mins! :)

Re: Re: Advance Apoligise For This Question!

lol - sorry mate,

So you reccommend a universal PiperX and make my own pipe work? Where would i get the PiperX from? and all the other bits for that matter!?
Sorry for what may seem stupid Q's - im a lil new to this!
I werent interested before i started coming on here a few days ago! Now i've got myself a great big "things to do list!"

Re: Re: Re: Re: Advance Apoligise For This Question!

Any hose from 83 to 85mm bore will do (as it will clamp down a bit).

Not sure if a 45degree elbow will be long enough to get the filter into the wing, tom?

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Advance Apoligise For This Question!

Like I said, no guarantee :)

Its not that far from the air meter to the filter, maybe 250mm?

Re: Re: Advance Apoligise For This Question!

Look, just cos you had a K&N and were incapable of driving sanely does not mean everyone else should do what you did.

Please try and be constructive if you are going to comment around here. This forum is to help people, not diss everything they have done or would like to do.

Ignore the anonymous bloke, its just Roger Ramjet being an old git :)

You won't get any more power, we all know that, it just sounds good and certainly on a 1.6 revs REALLY happily.

Re: Re: Re: Advance Apoligise For This Question!

Once again Thanks Tom - for being CONSTRUCTIVE and HELPFUL! unlike some anonymous people! :)

Re: Re: Re: Re: Advance Apoligise For This Question!

Tom is your piperX the vector model? You have any pics of your filter?
