Recently got a new phone line installed, planned to go with O2 but the exchange is at capacity for their service, so began looking into others.
Found Xilo.net via the thinkbroadbandforums. One of their staff posts on there, and replied to a few general questions i'd posted. He said if i wanted more info i could PM him and he'd give me a ring. So I did that, and ordered ended up ordering their Pro 16 package (resold C&W 24mb LLU). Very friendly bloke (Matt), very helpful. Had a good natter about which router to use.
Anyhoo, moving on to yesterday. My line was activated, and my router had arrived (off the bay). Plugged it all in and nothing.. no sync.
I messaged Matt again, and he said that seeing as though I was local - he'd pop round with a spare router/cable/filter to check where the fault lay. True to his word, he did. We did some fault finding and found the filter to be at fault, so he let me keep the one he'd brought. Then he was on his way.
What amazing customer service
Now my connection is all hunky doory at 18mb/s - i know if i'd gone with Be/O2 and rang to report a fault, I wouldn't have got this kinda service.
I'm very impressed
