Hi,

Re: Fiat 500 Lounge, first registered in 2019

The headlights seem to me to pointing too low, so when driving at night, the road is not adequately lit up in the distance.

Is there any way to point the main beam higher? I cannot find anything in the manual.

Grateful for any advice. Thank you in advance.

Have you got anything like this control on the left inside the car? it should be on zero to give highest beam setting.
Apart from that check your tyre pressures.;)
Unless anyone has been messing with car for MOT or accident repair etc.
I had one MOT tester where I go who always reset headlights too low, I think he had a problem with the beam setter, it wasn't to generate income as I paid an agreed Test fee.

The user adjustment is on the Speedo display (well it is on my abarth) using the three multi use menu buttons next to it.

I cannot find anything in the manual.

Somehow I doubt it's not in the manual.

Edit : it’s definitely in the owners manual

No - unfortunately my car doesn't have that control. :-( Would've been easy if it did.

I RTFM'd again and found a wee para on page 45 (see top left corner in attached photo). This did the trick. So I am sorted! :)

I also came across this which shows how a screw under the bonnet near the headlight can be adjusted to raise/lower the adjacent bulb/lamp. Didn't need it as the instructions in the manual worked.

So - a big thank you guys. Sorted.
