General adjustable boot

hi my girlfriend has a 16 plate 500 x pop star
if I was to remove the spare wheel, would I be able to lower the boot floor?

Yep did that on mine....took out the wheel ,tool bag and foam tray.....and there is still space left underneath for a tin of tyre sealant and the wheel nuts . The floor board sits on the metal floor at the back and the plastic tags at the hatch end.
