Technical Adaption halogen to original full led or only drl in LED

Hello everyone,

At first nice to meet everybody.
I've just registered myself for this forum for the following.
I've a MH on a Fiat Ducato 2025 with the standard halogen lights also de DRL are in halogen.
Could someone let me know if it's possible to change the standard light to the original Fiat Full Led headlights and how to do this or change to tje drl in led and the others just in halogen?
Can these being programmed with for example the multiecuscan software or AlfaOBD, I've allready have the multiecuscan software?

Welcome to the forum.
Depending on your headlight approval number, there might be EU street-legal LED bulbs for the headlight available from e.g. Osram or Philips for Belgium. I don't know if there are similar options for the DRL.

Hello MSjoberg, thanks for your answer. I have ordered original Fiat headlights with the DRL in LED, the other lights on in halogen. I hope that when I replace the complete headlight with the one I now have in halogen it is easy to adapt the computer of the Fiat so it can work with the headlight with DRL in LED. I've tried to exchange the headlights withour reprogramming but the computer gave an error about the lights and also when I turn the ignition on , the DRL in LED doesn't function. I've searched in this forum but can't exactly find how to reprogram this.

I've just received the headlights with led DRL but u fortunately I haven't had the time to test it. I think I also need to buy the up to date MES software because mine is I think outdated. Gato, you've adapted the 2 values as mentioned above ? regards

I bought full led headlights, so after replacement halogen to full led they are working as designed without blinking etc. The only issue is bulb error on the dash. I tried different coding in bytes 76 and 134 in MES, in AlfaOBD switching DRL type, DRL diagnostics etc. No luck...

Hi so for anyone thinking of changing the headlights to LED drls, i have done mine today and coded with Alfaobd on 2020 Ducato X290 took no more than 30 minutes in total. Total cost were as follows

Headlights £210 - Ebay
Vlinker MC+ obd £50 amazon
Alfaobd licenced version £31

All done with the help of this forum and various youtube clips from the US users with Dodge Rams.

I wouldnt have thought the DRLs would improve night time visability, that surely is only improved by better bulbs, I am going to change to Osram cool blue intence at some point in the near future.

Sorry I thought you had gone full LED, I already have LED DRL'S with halogen.

I have a 2017 with LED DRL's integrated with the halogen bulbs. The chrome around the bulbs is disappearing or was never there and although it passes the MOT a full LED headlight would be a nice upgrade when it one day fails MOT.
