Technical ABS light, brake failure, MORe thoughts on it all......

I still have these 2 lights that came on after changing the old dead battery. What I forgot to say, is that this vehicle has the Bosch ABS 5.3 with ASR. Note that I do not get a permanent ASR warning, this appears, when selected, to switch on and off normally. It (ASR light) also comes on with the ignition, and going off with all the others (except the 2 mentioned) after self test, correctly . If I can get a reliable connection on a laptop with multi ecuscan, I will buy the registered version and I could read any codes then turn them off, but connection is flaky at best, so shy of wasting money. The free version does not cover the ASR version of ABS 5.3. Anyone in south cheshire got the full version, that works well, fancy seeing if theirs will work, for the cost of a beer or two, lol? Tis a 2005 2.8 jtd, BTW.

Got the full version of Multieuscan which works ok on my 2005 2.8jtd motorhome last time I used it. You can give it a try. Regards.
