Technical ABS fault diagnosis & Accelarating is hesitant

Hi,

Fiat Stilo 1.9 Deisel Turbo 2003- myself and mate trying to sort this for the winter. having to delve into the electrical diagnostic route now which is a bit complex but getting results
ABS fault light in dash display showing and also starts & runs ok but when the accelorator is pressed its very slow to pic up then hesitates as if throttle not responsibe enough. does rev but its not smooth.

Had the car diagnostic done via obd port and our laptop soft ware and its showing up nothing at all. also tried the software multiecuscan free version, got it to link ok and read but free version wont allow scan of faults

Car is in good condition for its age and not sure what could be the problem, looked at some post here about fuses and wire loom faults but not that, Idealy need to find out what the specific ABS fault is ie a sensor or pump etc. So welcome any suggestions. thanks.

What cable are you using, you probably need an adapter cable to read the abs as its is on a different pin in the obd socket.

You need Adapter 1 green for abs/power steering.
