HI,
The ABS on my 2000 Ulysse has jut gone wonky. The toothed rings (that the sensor uses to detect wheel speed) on both wheels (mounted on the wheel end of the C.V. Joint) have fractured, it looks like rust has got in between the ring and the cv and the pressure has just parted the ring.
My garage says that I will need to replace the whole CV joint rather than just the ring.
Does anyone know if this is right are are they trying to fleece me.

Hi had this with my hyundai trajet (very common on those) Hyundai wanted £300 for a new drive shaft?!?!? Found a german company via Ebay that sells the abs ring kit for hyundai dont know if they do the same for fiat.(ebay item110143124649). I also found you could clean the shaft up and weld the ring and refit it without effecting the abs.
