Been covered recently, use the search function. If you look in your handbooks there's a service schedule in there which will tell you when your timing belt is due to be inspected/changed, along with all other service items.
I wouldnt recommend touching that, especially on an Abarth. I would take it to a good garage with experience of Fiat 5-pot engines. If you do anything slightly wrong, your screwed! And since the timing is out as it is, it really isnt worth the risk!
