I crashed my Alfa and needed something quickly.... Didnt have much money for a deposit and Fiat were doing the deal where they paid the £2k deposit so it seemed a win/win situation.....shame that Fiat decided to drop the price of the car by £1.k a few days after I bought my car and they were still doing the same deal.
I do love my Punto but that Abarth Evo just looks mean as fook!!!
I see. I've been looking too, spotted some with just a few K on the clock for £13,950, seems cheap when they are supposed to start at £16,500!

It was a thing of beauty! Such a pretty car and it sounded the nuts!!!! I'll have another one, one day
Why not just buy the Abarth Evo parts (i.e. wheels, bumpers, etc) and make yours faster with re-mapping, etc.. essentially an Abarth then, no?

Surely that will invalidate my warranty?
Most Fiat dealers wont notice the remap in all fairness however you would have to speak to your local dealer and see where they stand on changing bumpers, alloys etc...
Its not like your going to claim warranty on bumpers...
As for alloys I did hear something in the past about some dude putting 17" GPS alloys on his 1.2 GP and sheer coincidence his gearbox failed and they blaimed the alloys being to heavy for the 1.2 gearbox hummm

It's probably cheaper to part-ex and get an EVO rather than buying all the parts and swapping them. I've seen some EVO's with around 4000 miles on the clock for less than £14,000 it's almost tempting!
Im assuming the punto evo sporting is 5 speed like the gps and the abarth evo is a 6 speed?
It was proven with the gps sporting that you could spend stupid amounts of money on tuning the gps and even though it would be more powerful than the abarth, it would still fail to be as fast. Im guessing it will probably be the same here.
