Always annoyed me that the blue and me on bravo/delta lacks a2dp particularly as I like to listen to internet radio, using a cable to the phone is untidy as there is nowhere to put modern smart phones on the console unless you have cables all over the place. Anyway trying a solution not perfect but it works! Belkin HD Bluetooth Music Receiver with NFC Technology: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics using one of these and because it is purely an at home audio streaming device it is possible to connect BOTH blue and me AND the belkin at the same time, result! I needed to buy a usb to 2.5 mm cable (this is same size as on old Nokia chargers I believe) to connect the box to the car charger and a cable for the aux socket is needed too my intention is to keep the box in the small tray in front of the obd2 socket rhs of the steering wheel if it will fit and hide as much of the cables as possible. In theory the unit supports NFC for connection and it does work however it causes the blue and me so disconnect, so better to connect manually not ideal but better than nothing! I will post more info after Christmas when I've had time to play with it and get it all neat and tidy and of course had more time to check it works smoothly all the time.

I'm not sure if I understood correctly but does that mean you still have to connect this device to the car with an aux cable? I know that the aux cable can only connect to where the blue&me cable is behind the stereo, i.e. you cant have both
Yes but hopefully I can make it tidier than connecting phone direct. I have Google nexus so I am thinking to try cable less charging too, it's just something to dabble with if its not good I will use the unit to stream radio to the hi fi in the garage instead
By connecting both at same time I mean that as one device (blue and me) is phone audio and the other (belkin) is media the phone will connect to both Bluetooth devices at the same time, if you used a normal in car Bluetooth a2dp/hands free adaptor this wouldn't be possible because they would be in conflict. Sorry not very modern tech minded in regard to correct jargon so hope that makes sense!
