I have a very odd problem that maybe some peeps might be able to help me with?
My MK1 had the common random cutting out. So I plugged it in to my solus diagnostics (no faults found) Replaced the crank sensor this made her start again and only run for a second or two then cut out again. (plugged in again no faults shown) Next step cam sensor this has made her run again??? ticks over lovely for as long as you like but add any throttle for awhile at 2000 rpm fine for about 10 seconds then the revs rise and she cuts out. (Again no faults shown) I've been in the motor trade for over 30yrs now and this is really bugging me.... I have a thinking it might be the tps unit on the gas pedal but I cannot find any test data.... So has anyone come across this before??

Cheers

Just to update everyone I have found the fault. Fuel pressure is the culprit the parameters for the multipla 207 bar is needed to run properly mine ran over 800 bar at the cut out point so time to sort the regulator out. I hope this helps others out.;)
