Hello all.
If like me you're a bit strapped for cash and want to make your Cinq front speakers sound a little better, do wot I did. I took a couple of squares of thin card, I used the back off an A4 writing pad, and then cut out two squares of 10.4 x 10.4 cm.
I then cut out a circle in the centre the same diameter as the speaker. Took off the speaker grilles and offered up the card to the speaker and marked where the screw holes were.
I placed the card on the speaker, did up the screws on the bottom and put the speaker grille back on and screwed the top screws back on.
Fitting the card on has had the effect of 'dampening' the sound somewhat allowing me to adjust the bass and treble, getting a decent sound without the speaker grilles vibrating all the time.
