Well, after a stressfull 2 weekends trying to finally sell the HGT, i feel it is necessesary to thank some members here.

First of all, BIG Thanks Martyn for managing to get me to glasgow without crashing. If it werent for you leading me with your foglight then i would have almost certainly have hit something. Thankyou, and sorry for causing you to miss most of the meeting.

Secondly, equally big thanks to Mark (SL02RXK) for giving me a lift this weekend and going the extra mile to try and get me on that bus in time.

I don't know what i would have done without either of you, your help was very appreciated and i am very gratefull. Next meet, i will buy you both a BIIG drink (although not enough to put you over the limit )

Not a problem mate!

As said en-route there wasn't a huge amount that could be done. And of the options I think continuing to Glasgow safely was the sensible one. I wouldn't worry about the being late part, these things happen and I got there in the end! OK, I caught ten - fifteen minutes of the meet but there's always the next one!

It was the longest, must swear filled drive I've had to Glasgow yet but it was a cracking laugh! Anyway, how many times have I needed help it's what the whole site things aboot!

(Speaking of help, you any good with domestic electrics?)

Hey man, no problems - just pissed we still missed that bus (If it wasn't for other cars I could have totally made it back into Glasgow in 7 minutes)
